Hi,
I am capturing a French ligature œ in my DCT.
I intend to generate the HTML entity of the above specal character in an xml file.
my tpl code looks something like this:
eval {Encode::from_to($DCTvalue, 'utf8', 'iso-8859-1', Encode::FB_CROAK);};
if ($
@) {
my $error_message = qq(Can Not Convert to iso-8859-1: $
@);
# Log out $error_message
}
In my generated xml i get the output as Å“
The other characters like âÆæÇçÈèÉé work fine from the above code.
Can someone guide me here pls.
