Can we use FormAPI in tpl

Hi friends,

Is it possible to use FormAPI within a presentation template (tpl). If so can we use it within the <script> tags?

Is IW_CScript supported in tpls for 6.7.2 version. If it is supported then can we call a formapi script from that element?

No, use Perl instead. FormApi is (only) to be used within dct's.

There is absolutely no way to execute JS/FormAPI from the presentation template before/during Generation.
PT is evaluated by iwperl on the Server Side. JS is run by your Browser on the Client desktop.

My requirement is converting all the existing tpls to xslts.
One of the tpls use this command: my $dcrname = iwpt_get_dcr_name();

How would I achieve the above functionality in XSLT.
