Submit file to Staging Area

hi all,
1.My team site is installed in an lunix machine

2.i am just connecting the content service form my local machine(windows xp).

3. i am just connected the content service from my local machine using the soap + java code.

4.i am now able to get the version and details of a particular file from branch.

5. now what i have to do is,i want to submit a file to staging area from my local machine to my remote machine where team site installed using java+soap

Can any one help me to do...

No matter how you slice it, to be able to Submit your Files you will have to "transport" them to some Workarea of the desired Branch.
How exactly you do that is irrelevant. You can use Java/Soap or OD or FTP or (for the GUI upload) traditional HTML input type="file" Tag or
IWOV CC import Applet. Then and only then you'd be able to use TS GUI, TS CLT or TS CSSDK to Submit Files to Staging

Take a look at how to handle so called "SOAP Attachments", there are white papers and code
samples on the other side of the Google Search. Please note that this aspect of SOAP is not
portable, implementation may differ for different Application Servers.

That said, I think you understand that you are talking about solution with the Client footprint.
You may want to explain your logistics to get better advice. Two most important aspects of that
are File Source (Data Feed, human author, another App output etc) and transport triggering
conditions like Schedule, some Events, Author operating through GUI and whatnot
