DCR conversion

We have several data capture templates which we are planning to revise in the near future. Some of the revision may involve changes to containers, naming conventions, etc, which means older DCRs won't be compatible with the new DCTs.

So the question is, what's the best way to convert old DCRs into the new format? Right now I'm thinking a simple drag-and-drop XML editor will be best -- any suggestions on something good but low-priced?

Use templating! You can open any arbitraty XML file with iwpt_compile.ipl, and use a transformation PT to emit the new DCR in the new correct schema. Don't forget to set the metadata.
