Clicking links in VisualFormat fields

Has anyone had to deal with the problem with VisualFormat fields and when users click on links? It's following the link in the current window (based on the target frame from the link) and then the user get confused with where there edit DCR window went. It causes funky behaviour until the user F5's to refresh there browser and gets back to the edit DCR screen.

Is there a quick fix? Something in the config for visualformat?
