You did not provide the complete picture. Like Scenario, TS version and Env.
As per my understanding you are getting this error while previewing a DCR. So checkout .tpl file and log files mainly servletd_out.log that will give some pointer.

2) java.lang.NullPointerException

The Java pointer has an ception because it was NULL

3)unable_to_parse_dcr

It could not parse the DCR.
