STAGING conflicts

I am having a problem with conflicts when submitting files to STAGING.

I clear out STAGING (i.e. delete files from WORKAREA and then submit - direct with OVERWRITE mode turned on), then I rebuilt a workarea and submit to STAGING. I am presented with conflicts. The directory I am trying to submit (WORKAREA vpath) has been deleted from STAGING. But why does this happen? STAGING is empty.

Anyone have ideas on this one?

After you initially delete your WORKAREA contents and submit w/ Overwrite on, do a 'Compare' on your WORKAREA. Are there any reported differences?

Then, when you rebuild your WORKAREA, but before you submit, do a Compare again. Are the only differences the ones you'd expect (the files in your WORKAREA)? If so, don't worry about the confilcts-- just submit w/ Overwrite and you're fine.

You may not have deleted the files 'completely' in your initial operation. I usually delete from my Workarea, then use the "View-->List Differences" menu item and "submit the holes (deletions)" from the resulting screen. Never had a problem that way.
