1) Not only under current branches, but also under current data-type only. That also tpl file has to be present under that branch for that particular data-type in presentation folder ? Doe this mean that same data-type may be using different TPLs in different work areas even in the same branch ? If so, how to specify different TPLs for the same data-type in templating.cfg ? As we specify only to the branch level in templating.cfg ?2) So how to view this zz_xxxx.html without using preview function and directly going in to the folder ? In the code posted here, where will the zz_xxxx.html be generated ?3) Why do we need virtualization in iw.cfg to serve jsp pages ? Cant we place jsp pages in a directory in tomcat and view it ?
[...]1 If its jsp page then it can be the server to which this request is redirected.2 If its html page, then may be web server (which receives the request - which is Apache according to my understanding) is not running. But if web service is not running then entire TeamSite will be down rather than only Preview function. 3 If my understanding is not correct, then does it mean that any request received by Apache webserver is redirected to IIS and IIS is the server which serves web pages ? If this is true, then why is there such an arrangement rather than Apache web server serving the web pages ? How is request directed to IIS from Apache ? Is there any virtualization required or is it inbuilt ?Pls answer all the questions , if possible. Because unanswered questions leaves many doubts.

Tell your boss you need training. Then go. In the mean time buy the Definitive Guide to TeamSite from amazon.com and read it.
