Clear the Work in progress list

Rahul123

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to clear the Work in Progress list.

We have some users who has a long list of content in work in progress which is pending approval to be published. This has made their list unmanageable and they want to clear it.

Please let me know if there is a way to do this without actually publishing all the DCRs in the list.

Thanks,
Rahul

I believe as far as the OOTB component is concerned - publishing or doing a GetLatest with overwrite (revert / undo changes) is the only way to remove entries from this list ... or perhaps finding a way to change the reference to the owner of the modifications so that the files appear on someone else's list. But frankly if it takes that long to get something pushed through the system the problem should really be taken up with the folks who are responsible for reviewing and allowing content to be published rather than trying to fix the results of their inefficiency.
