TinyMCE textarea showing up twice for a single item

Just wondering if anybody has seen this behavior before from TinyMCE before?

i have an item in my DCT looks like this:
[HTML]

Description

[/HTML]

and the textarea is showing up twice for description item ( see attached screenshot). i am using default config and only have one tinymce field in this DCT.

this is on TS 6.7.1 SP1 Patch4 Redhat.

this is weird, I tried the same snippet what you have mentioned and it worked for me just fine. Try running it from an other DCT.

this issue seems to get resolved when i remove this option from templating.cfg for this template:
[HTML]

[/HTML]

this might be another known bug with tinymce and replicants... i will look thru the release notes and confirm.

if you want to replicate the issue try this:

create a dct similar to this (has nested containers):

[HTML]

ID

Description

[/HTML]

and use this in templating.cfg for this template:
[HTML]

[/HTML]

this is on TS 6.7.1 SP1 Patch 4 Linux.

This is a fixed defect in Patch 5 of TeamSite 6.7.1 SP1 which comes with a new version of tinyMCE.

If you cannot upgrade to Patch 5, then you need to have at least one instance of a tinyMCE visible when the form loads. You can hide it after the form loads.

Removing the collpased as noted works but then you run into performance issues with large DCTs where collapsing is the solution.
