Remove DataDeploy Primary Key

TroyP

I have a deployment that was originally set up with a primary key and a foreign key but now I would like to remove them as the were never configured on the DB.

When I remove the constraint from my DD config file the deployment fails with a "null pointer exception".

I have tried restarting OD to eliminate any cache issues.

Is there a trick to removing a PK or FK.

OD 6.2.1
RHEL 4

Did you drop all of your tables after this sort of change? If your table defines primary/foriegn key and your DD config doesn't then DD will throw errors.

The PK/FK constraints were never set up on the DB. A developer created the tables DD didn't. I did check this again. I am wondering if the table was cached. I am going to try this again.

Use db-cache-connection in database.xml file. It will update the new constraint with deployment script.
