Rmoving Active Workflow jobs

Hi All,

We are using TeamSite 6.1 on Solaris 8 platform.
we are facing some problem with workflows.
In Teamsite UI when you click on workflow tab, it is not showing up any thing. just it hanging in there.

I have identified there are more than 1200 active jobs are running
(using iwgetwfobj).
I would like to know whether there is any way to remove these jobs...
Not all jobs but which are older than 1 week.
how can I find when the job got initiated?
Please let me know... this is very urgent.

Hello Surender,

I don't know how you can get the jobs older than 1 week but, attached is the script that deletes all active jobs. May be you can tweak the wfquery to get what you want.

Also, look into iwqueryjobs.exe CLT for more information on wf queries. Hope this helps to get you started.

Hi Surender,
You can also try following approach to remover old jobs:
1. Use iwgetwfobjs to return a list of all workflow jobs.
2. Output this to a file and parse this file for the date.
3. Convert the date using standard perl modules to the format you are most comfortable with.
4. Do a data comparison.
5. Based on the results of the data comparison, get the workflow job id of that job.
6. Use iwrmjob to delete the job. You can provide multiple jond separated by space with this command.
