OK, playing with the default SP/LS WF. The email task has a variable called Recipients. It is set to DATASOURCE(Reviewer).

Since the variable is plural, one would assume you could have a list of Recipients. Can I ? What would the delimiter be (comma, semi colon)? Where is this documented ? This has much more functionality than is defined in the WFM 1,01 manual.

Comma separated list. What is the Java Bean that is referenced by the task that you are looking at? I am assuming you are not using any custom bean.

I think WFM documentation would just provide you with basic information in terms of what the framework provides. What you build on top of that is completely upto you -- PLC WF is just a good "building on top" of that framework to provide some configurable (for developers) and user-friendly (for biz users) features.

In PLC OOTB workflow's email task perform with URL Task. In URL Task it passes variables with name value pair like TaskBeanId, ClassName etc.
Recipients variable is an array, that can be multiple value with comma (,) separated.
If you look into "Job Complete Email Task" in PLC workflow, Recipients value is $IW_USER,DATASOURCE(Reviewer).

One thing which i like to share that "Sender" variable is a String type that means it should be a text email id i.e. noreply@yourcompany.com, you can not pass any workflow variable to it's value.
