When will TS/SP use XSLT 2.0?
JessicaD
Right now components are written in XSLT 1.0 and compared to XSLT 2.0, there are a lot of limitations. When will TeamSite/Site Publisher support XSLT 2.0? Rather, does TS/SP 6.7.2 SP2 support XSLT 2.0?

TS / SP uses Xalan which is the industry standard for a lot of the XML / XSL transformation applications / programs. Currently, Xalan only supports XSLT 1.0.
Last I checked, XSLT 2.0 was a
"proposed"
W3C recommendation and not finalized yet. To my knowledge, outside of Micheal Kay's Saxonica parser, there aren't really any viable/reliable XSLT 2.0 processors out there.
This was the case until fairly recently -- it may have changed but highly doubtful. There isn't enough interest in creating XSLT 2.0 processors in the developer community as of now.

Why can't IWOV use Saxon parser? At a client site recently I used that in a Java project and it was a treat to work on a complex XSL.
XSLT 2.0 is the way to go whether its a standard or not.
Any one uses ISO model? Only TCP/IP model is used even though its not a standard.
