TeamSite 6.7.2 - DCT Problem

When we upgraded a DEV server from 6.7.1 to 6.7.2 we encountered problems with some DCTs. It appears that a new rule was implemented; however I cannot find the supporting documented changes in the 6.7.2 release notes.

The error is as follows when I try to create a new or open an existing DCR.

Root cause:
com.interwoven.ui.datacapture.external.InvalidDCTException: Invalid DCT: tab is defined in dct, all the containers, items, etc. must be within tabs.

What we have is a DCT with several tabs and two hidden fields [date_modified and date_issued]. Each tab represents a different language with the same fields. We have a single "date_modified" and "date_issued" field for the entire DCR, and not separate ones for each tab. The DCR and DCTs are below.


Is anyone aware of a rule change in 6.7.2 indicating that the must NOW be embedded within a ?

We just upgraded our test server and are experiencing the same problem. We have many forms that have hidden fields outside of tabs. They are all breaking.

Moving the hidden items into tabs results in different output DCR paths. which are causing our Data Deploys to fail. And to top it off, our workflow extensions need to be re-written to find the hidden items after they've been moved into the tabs.

In short, this change is causing major pains. It may even be a dealbreaker. Where is it documented? Is there a workaround to changing all our existing code and files?
