cgitask values.
rodigz
I have cgitask that will have get values from the user.
I need that values be written in the email.
What I did is setVariable in the cgi file.
my $set=$set_task->SetVariable($wftuser, $testuser);
my $title = $set_task->GetVariable('wftuser');
print $title;
The value is showing up.
In the wft file: For some reason can't retrieve the value.
externaltask lock = "f" name = "Email" owner = "user" retry = "t" start = "f" description="Test 1234"
...
command v="/iw-home/bin/iwsend_mail.ipl -H -s 'Subject __INSERT__('$title');' "/
.....
Please advise.

wft File generates Job Specs, that's it. It is terminated way before your job's first (start) task becomes active.
You would have to set your Job/Task Variables within CGI Task and get them in the external(mail?) Task.
If you are using IWOV's iwsend_mail (looks like you do), you can remove -s Switch from the command and
set 'mail_subject' task Variable instead. In the absence of -s Mail will pick it up from that task Variable.
Beware! In order for that to work your CGI Task should set a Task Variable for another (Mail) external Task
Object, not to "self"
