Deployments hanging with zero bytes log file
System
Hi All,
We faced one issue recently where we had our deployments hanging. in the iwserverstatus output, there were 2 deployments but those were doing nothing. And when we checked all the deployments triggered for that OD instance(by ps command) there were many deployments which were triggered by iwodcmd command but not showing on iwserverstatus output. The strange thing was all these deployments' src logs became 0 bytes. A normal restart did not solve the issue and new deployments were still hanging. We had to remvove the db files in /db directory and restart OD.
Can anyone help understand why OD behaves like it.
We are useing TS - 6.5 SP3 OD - 6.1.1 on Solaris.

Hi,
Few points which could be helpful to debug your issue.
1.If the disk space is full in your source server, or target server, cleanup your logs and see if that works
2.If there are any problems in contacting your target server , that could cause this problem. In this case, you can try doing a deploy locally from one workarea to another in the same server and see if that works. This could also confirm that your OD has no problem
3.If your base server processor troubles by eating up more CPU, that can result in this behaviour.
4.Check if you have recently changed any config files with respect to opendeploy and havent been submitted.
Hope this helps.
