tagger UI | issue with multiple files

I am using a custom tagger UI screen. my custom rule is defined in the a file named custom_MetadataRule.cfg placed under iw-home/local/config/tagui/rulesets60/

I have also updated metadata-rules.cfg under /iw-home/local/config

I am able to invoke my custom tagger UI screen perfectly. But the issue is, tagger screen works fine only when I select a single file and click files-->tag
But when I select multiple files and try to tag, then it throws an error saying "There was a problem with metadata capture configuration. Please contact your system administrator. "

Log says...

It is not able to find my custom rule when I select multiple files but works fine when tagging a single file. When I select multiple file It is looking for the specified rule only in /iw-home/local/config/datacapture.cfg and not looking under /iw-home/local/config/tagui/rulesets60

What could be the issue ? Any help is greatly appreciated....

What version of TeamSite are you using (including service pack and patch information)?

Hmm... I thought 6.7.2 supported multi-file tagging with the new UI - but according to the 6.7.2 release notes:[indent]NOTE

In future TeamSite releases, the next generation Tagger GUI will support tagging more than one file at a time. When that ability is supported, the next generation Tagger GUI will be the default Tagger GUI for all tagging activities initiated in ContentCenter Standard and Professional.

[/indent]So it might not matter which version you have ... [yet]

I know dolly is running on version 6.7.1 sp1 which does not support multiple file tagging with TagUI and that if you want to use multiple tagging you need to have the same rulesets defined in the old datacapture.cfg as you do in your ruleset6.0 folder for multiple tagging to work.

If they were on version 6.7.2 mutliple tagging with TagUI will work just fine. I've been getting our dev environment up and running on 6.7.2 patch 2 this week and have been working in TagUI all day today since I knew it now supports multi-tagging (i have it working in my environment) and we can finally switch over to it with the upgrade. it's also mentioned in the release notes of 6.7.2 that TagUI supports multi-tagging now. From page 10 of TeamSite 6.7.2 release notes:

"TagUI
TagUI provides tagging for single files and multiple files; it is enabled by default. Refer to the TeamSite Supplement for a description of the functionality and for information on updating your tagging structure and backward compatibility."

That's what I thought - but the quote I posted previously was from page 100 of the 672 Release Notes -- looks like another [unfortunate] documentation bug ... Thanks for the clarification/verification.
