User get a blank screen on preview

A user with admin permissions receives a blank white screen when he tries to preview a file. I logged into TS from his workstation and was able preview no problem.

What version of TS is this and OS? If it is windows, check if the user is part of the webpreview group.

Check user role and corresponding to that check the role credentials under the ADMINISTRATION TAB--->Roles and Permissions--->Manage Roles.

In this you have various roles,let's say for editor role you have an Heading as "Files, Forms and Folders " In this check weather user having role has an preview permission or not ?

It may be possible that "particular user" has not been added to Branch and workarea as his role.

For this check workarea members and Branch's Permissions Users and Role.

May be it can help you.

I made the user admin of the branch and he still gets a blank screen. I've also tried removing him and re adding him without luck also

Please have a check whether he has access privilages to create maifest files while performing preview operation.

The only supported Windows OS's for TS 671SP1 are:

If you managed to get it installed on XP there's no guarantee that everything will work and you will be hard-pressed to get support.

What are you trying to preview, a generated output of a DCR or just any file?
What does the access log report for the requested file?
Have you tried bypassing apache and going straight to the preview webserver (typically on port 81).

find the location of "zzz" file in iwmnt directory. Then delete files that have: zz_0_manifest.

assumption: [teamsite_templating] in iw.cfg has no value.
