Recursive structure in a fixed area layout

In a fixed layout with one row and two areas in that row, would it be possible to go deeper and define rows/areas in any of the above areas in a recursive manner?

Take a look at the attachment for a high-level example.

I am using TeamSite 6.7.2.

As of now, it is no possible. However Feature request is already pending with Interwoven.
