ECM connector error.

rabs

I am attempting to configure the Mediabin ECM connector in Teamsite 6.7.2.

I am being returned the error ..

"Could not verify if assets can be imported from MediaBin.

Unable to import assets from MediaBin. Check permissions on the webservice container's transfer folder."

I have done the following...

1. created a guest a/c on the mediabin server which I am using in Teamsite to connect to Mediabin.

2. I have checked permissions on the transfer folder - the folder is shared, and I have enabled anonymous access, I have also tried it with anonymous access disabled.

My set up is as follows.

Teamsite 6.7.2 on Linux 5
Mediabin 4.6.1 on Windows 2003 .

Recheck the permissions on both Mediabin and Teamsite side. IF you are admin on mediabin box, make yourself as admin and try using that username and password for that connection.

Thanks

Thanks for your response.

I have done the following

1. I created a guest a/c on the Mediabin server (which I added to the admin group)with which I have attempted to configure the connector - same error.

2. I have used the Admin account on the Mediabin server to configure the connector - same error

3. I simulated my teamsite account on the mediabin server and used that to configure the connector - same error.

On the MB server machine where you have web services installed you should have a share called TransferFolderWS. Make sure "Everyone" has full permissions on that folder. Use windows explorer and not IIS admin.

Thanks.

I have just checked - the TransferFolderWS folder already has full permissions.

Is this a new install or upgrade? Was it working previously? Have you tried using FQDN for the MB server in the ECM configuration?

This is a new installation - configuring the connector for the first time.
