is there any function in xsl ? so that, i can use to perform the same job as the iw_iterate function in tpls.

The pro - XSLT is an "industry standard" and it will allow files generated with it to have the correct owner in a Non-OS-User environment (I believe)
The con - it requires significant re-thinking about what you can do, and how you do it.

I've merely scratched the surface of implementing PTs using XSLT. Maybe by the middle of next year I'll have a more thorough response.

for me, the biggest advantage is that XSLT is widely used and there are unlimited resources on the internet when you need to figure out how to do something. if you really get into it and start reading about XSLT dirty work (tricks and tips). you will find that you can achieve things in XSLT in an easier cleaner way than you can with iwpt. where for iwpt you have to relay on iwov documentation which is limited and on devnet.

my biggest problem is that i am used to iwpt and it is hard to think out of the box. and that i dont get to use "iw" with every word like we do in iwpt which looked cool Smiley Happy

i dont think this xsl:for-each helps me

its hard to implement...

and what i was looking for is something that could help me add new menu's in the Navigation bar when replicated in the DCT.

may be some snippets could help me, if you guys could.

Why don't you show us the code you were thinking of using in a TPL and the code (or beginning of it) that you think is so hard to do using xsl:for-each - and then we'll try to help you from there...

if ; is hardcoded in the html code then replace it with ; (nospace between 160 and ; )... you can do alot with xsl:for-each especially if u put it in template and pass the formating tags as parameters.

but as adam requested, post a sample of ur xml data and html code of what you are having trouble with.
