Pre-populating NewProfileDlg and Comments

I have a VB.NET application that can import new documents to WorkSite and I am pre-profiling the "New Profile" form as such in the ImportCMD's "OnInitDialog" event handler:

NewProfDlg.SetAttributeValueByID(AttributeID.nrComment, "This is my test comment")

This works fine if the "New Profile" form has an "edit form field" for the comment field. But if the form has a "button" that pops-up a separate window for the comments, the comments are empty. I have followed the sample code for pre-populating the profile screens on this site.

Is there a way that I can pre-populate the comments field in both situations? Thanks.
