How to restrict files being submited to staging?

HOw can we block few files being submitted to stagingarea when i try to deploy whoel workarea content to staging??

If you're talking about a TeamSite branch's staging area - look into autoprivate.cfg (TS Admin) and/or the CLT iwprv (TS CLT) and/or UI guides for how to manually set a file to "private" via the GUI.

If you're talking about deployments to a [non-TeamSite] staging server - look into exclusion / inclusion filters in the OD manuals.

Im talking about submitting files from workarea to staging...
"Private" option could be used to set individually for each file.
But i need some global filter(which would filter some set of files ex:all .cfg files)

Then, as ghoti said, you need autoprivate.cfg.

Will try to find "autoprivate.cfg" in some pdf..
Its highly appreciable if someone can refer pdf or could paste some data/code of autoprivate.cfg...

It's in the TeamSite Admin Guide, it might be different in the guide for your version of TS, but in the 6.7.2 guide it's under the heading "Autoprivate Feature".
