To call javascript function, we need to mention it in the event calling that js function eg [html] [/html]

In this code js function disableSubmitButtonAndSubmitSearch is connected to onclick event.

In callout, we are invoking a javascript function. But how is callout connected to an event ? As there is no code linking it to an event. How does the code know that it has to invoke javascript when callout is clicked ?

Is callout linked to javascript by the subsystem ?
So from the guess that callout is linked to javascript by the subsystem, I understand whenever callout is pressed, javascript in that DCT will be invoked and any javascript that contains "onCallout" event, will execute the function associated with it.

Pls explain this.

Hi,

Whenever you are opening/editing DCR,it will be initialized with the values, basically it will form a xml file. Form Publisher Engine will read DCT config file and it will map the events with the javascript function that you defined in the DCT.
