Documentum Workflow Tracking

Hello,

In webtop or DA, for workflows, you can go to inbox for a particular workflow task and then in the progress TAB you can see the History of the Workflow, which shows the activity names, whether they have been finished/acquired etc. performer names and Dates. We don't have any workflow auditing enabled in our environment. How does webtop/DA get this information?

As an example, I have attached two pictures which show what information is meant here.

From all runtime workflow objects, e.g. dm_workflow, dm_activity, dmi_workitem, dmi_package. Most get deleted once the workflow is competed.

dmi_workitem/dmi_queue_item stores the information related to task that is running or has been completed.

Future state information comes from dm_activity associated with dm_process associated with dm_workflow (running instance of the process).
