Problem with Custom Interface Build

I'm trying to build a custom interface, and at the end of the build sequence I do not get any error message, but when I try to access the new TeamSite interface, I get the following message:

Erro:javax.servlet.jsp.JspException

iw.ccpro.common.tabset is not found in config.
Please contact your TeamSite Administrator for help.

No UI configuration found matching item ID iw.ccpro.common.interwoven.link of type class comm.interwoven.ui.base.widget.LinkTag

This mesage appears even if the custom xml files have no customization entries. Running a remove brings everything back to normal. It appears that something is missing, any ideas what it might be?

i havent seen this kind of error before, but if you provide some basic info about your environment will be great.

teamsite version? linux or windows?...
and attach your build.xml and any of these files if you modified them:
workflow_custom.xml
ui_custom.xml
search_custom.xml
file_template_custom.xml
userops_custom.xml
application_custom.xml
portal_custom.xml

They are all plain vanilla, empty, no customization in any of them and it still errors out.

Thought I had it, but was looking at the wrong UR, looking at the test server where this all works.

SOLUTION!!! The build does not like a backup copy of the ui_custom.xml file in the folder. I had a backup named ui_custom_Changes.xml and that sent it out to lunch. Thanks to Alison Sanchez of Interwoven Support.

You also could have found this information in various forum postings too - but I'm glad Support was able to pinpoint the problem for you.

I didn't look for them - I simply know that I (as well as some others) have posted that information several times over the years - so it should be there...

I got this problem and I searched on the message that came up in the dialogue and only got this and something from 2007 which didn't give a solution so I don't know where all the other 'various forum postings' are. Surely the best way to search is to put in the error message - if that doesn't bring up all the other postings you can hardly criticise the person for not finding them.

I know that has been posted before (because I have mentioned it myself). Now search seems to be only getting the last couple years, so that may be part of it as well as whatever your search parameters were. I do not recognize that error message, so it likely was not in the threads where this was mentioned.

Anyway, good thing you got it fixed.

Thanks guys. My search string(matching item ID) found this forum. This post saved my time. I know my search string is not worthy. But I am bit lucky due to my combations. We can say Dev net search is not 100% user friendly.

Hi all,

We seem to be facing a really similar issue but can't find a duplicate of ui_custom.xml. The error we are getting is:

"No UI configuration found matching item ID iw.ccstd.common.view_usage_list of type class com.interwoven.ui.base.widget.ButtonTag"

we've tried rolling back to the original ui_custom.xml with no success. Any suggestions?

This is the command that is triggering the issue:

it is only a problem when a user does this when the are in CCStd. If they are logged in to CCPro the command works as expected.
