OpenDeploy 6.2.1 Won't Start in AIX after generating license

We; have installed OpenDeploy Receiver on an AIX box, have generated a license, have dropped the license into the etc directory, have recycled openDeploy. We consistently get Bad Domain errors. I have compared the OD.lic file to other instances of OpenDeploy in this space and the domain is the same.

That does not really matter much.

OD has its own way of determining the domain. Check /etc/hosts because that is what OD uses to decide the host name and domain name.

Or, as per the documentation (page 42 - OD Installation Guide) - run the following command:

java -cp od-home/lib/odng.jar com.interwoven.license.LicInfo -f output-file -p OD

Bad host name usually mean that the following entry in the registry keys on the server are mismatched or empty.

Please chk with your hosts, resolv.conf, nslookup

You can verify that the primary domain in /etc/resolv.conf matches the domain in /etc/hosts and the domain returned by nslookup on the server (Make sure they match exactly, same string and case)
