xml-to-db deployment

hi

we are planning to deploy an xml to db in the format attached ,i had gone through pdf a format is given but its specific to file which gets generated when deplyoment is done from db-to-xml which is bit complex for users to understand ,

can some one pls tell where in pdf am i missing reference to this kind of deployment or any pointers where am i going wrong (which i am sure i am going totally,log file doesnt give too many information except saying failed)

I haven't tried doing this with DD - but if I'm reading the manual correctly, I think you're going about it wrong. You're specifying field names of 'x' and 'y' - but those are attribute names of an element 'Row' with no 'name' attribute (not sure if one is required, the documentation doesn't provide good examples of XML files to be deployed as far as I can tell) - you also might be using the wrong directive (again, I'm not sure) but instead of using xml-formatted-data you might want to look at the documentation for xml-source.
