VFE issues

We are using custom VFE XML having a custom CSS. This resolves one of our issue of getting carriage return between two paragraphs automatically in the VFE mode however it also introduces issues while adding images. The image in the VFE appears fine in the following situation:

1. Loading an existing DCR
2. Adding an image without clicking anything.

The image appears as a "X" when:
1. After adding an image, the mouse is clicked on any other field outside VFE.
2. The VFE is toggled between HTML and WSYWIG modes.

Any help would be appreciated.

Even though the image appears as a cross, do you see it in the preview or after publish? Please state your TS and VFE versions.

When you say VFE, are you talking about TinyMCE or EWebEditPro?

TinyMCE prepends the servername to relative links (when you use the image and url buttons) . It also behaves differently in IE and FF. And in some instances prepends prepends ".." (like "../../.."), which shows the X.

After Interwoven acknowledged this as a bug and some black patches that screwed up some more, I have just written on Save callserver handlers to take care of such stuff.
