Branching issue in documentum

While setting the check in for 23.0 version, new version got created as 23.0.1.0(expected version to be created as per configuration is 23.1 draft).
What could be the possible problem here??

What client are you using and do you have any customizations defined (e.g. TBOs, webtop, D2, etc)?

yes, using D2 version 4.2.
As per current config I amexpecting to make 23.1 but it has created 23.0.1.0

Is it just this document or do others have similar issues? If its just this document, confirm using DQL what the previous version was 23.0 and not 23.0.0

This issue has been resolved. There was one redundent brach created which led to all these chaos.
