install issue for TS 6.7.2 SP2

Hi,

I just downloaded TS 6.7.2 SP2 and started installing but when i click on install.bat it gives the msg
"product teamsite is not installed on your system" installatlion will now quit

my confusion is that do we need to install TS 6.7.2 before we install 6.7.2 SP2 .,cant we directrly install it ,i tried searching through pdfs and forums but coulnt find something specfic ,

looking forward for some guidance from experts?

Yes - you need to install 672 [vanilla] first, then you can install SP2. Despite the fact that SP's tend to be about as big (and sometimes bigger) than the original installation image, you must install the base version before you can apply an SP.
