Hi,
We have requirement to send email,if any error occurs during deployment[open deploy].We are runing opendeploy script as part of workflow.Is it possible to capture the error message that occurred during open deploy.Thanks in advance.

Yes, it is possible. Before explain the way, what is the TS version and Env is there? Is it WFT or WFM?

For WFM you need to add an Email task/Url External Task for sending deployment fail email. There are different type of email notification template (xsl) existing in Teamsite. For sending deployment failure notifiction you have to select DeployFailedNotification.xsl for the BodyStylesheet variable. You can check these XSL at this path:
//iwadmin/main/config/WORKAREA/shared/workflow/email
