Data Migration during upgrade - 10TB

Need suggestions and approach on how to handle data migration during upgrade from Dctm 7 to 16 for 10TB size.

What is the exact version - is it 7.0? Will you be moving to new servers for Documentum as well as data or will the data location be retained as part of the upgrade?

7.3 is current version. We are planning to install 16.3 on new servers, migrate customisations and hence need for moving content.

Although OpenText does not have tools for copying the data itself, Robocopy (Windows) and rsync (linux) are often used to just copy the data from one location to another.

If you files are located on NAS/SAN, you just need to create a new mount point for the 16.3 servers.
