detecting jdbc and memory leaks using Workflows and Open Deploy

We are trying to detect if there are any memory or jdbc leaks resulting from unclosed connection(s) when deploying our DCRs to the database using TeamSite Workflow and opendeploy/data deploy.

we are using WFM. all our tasks are written in Java. In some or our tasks we create a connection to the database and get some information.

One way we were thinking do to is to deploy a lot of DCRs and observer if there are memory leaks.

i was wondering if any one have ever had to do such thing , what is the best way to do it, and what are the tools are to be used. I have been thinking to use HPjmeter or Jmeter?

Any pointers is appreciated.
