Vpath in the metadata-rules.cfg

I had a problem when i tag a file and try saving it. The error shows

No ruleset found for vpath: "//corpiwov01/default/main/prc/WORKAREA/common/templatedata/documents/usa/whitepaper/vsg/Evolving_Role_of_VC_HC.pdf"

I was using the

cond vpath-regex="^/default/main/prc/.*/templatedata/documents" in the Metadata-rules.cfg

Now i changed it to the following and it is working fine.

"cond vpath-regex="^.*?/default/main/prc/.*/templatedata/documents" "


And the path
cond vpath-regex="^/default/main/prc/.*/templatedata/documents" in the Metadata-rules.cfg is working fine on the other machines with same content.

Can anyone help me out in finding out why the path is working fine in other machines and not working on a single machine.


OS is Solaris

Any help in this regard will be helpful
