Is browsing across branches in 672 supported or still a hack as before.

The idea here is to place all the digital assets in one branch so all branches can be able to share them. This is also is a place holder so in the future if we decided to go to Digital Management tool such as MediaBin we can just take everything from there and throw it in the DAM.

I would like your opinions about this approach and if it makes sense or not. what might be the pros and cons here.

I have a a few reservations my self against this model but i would like to hear devnet.
