I am new to TeamSite start work on requirements,i created DCT for the requirement,but not understand how to start with PT and what to code,
what is going on in PT ???

can anyone suggest me any sample work,which has DCT,PT and DTD explaining what is the code in that doing????

Go through Teamsite FormPublisher Development Guide.It will give you step by step instruction to develop PT.

Try one or more of the following:
* Read the manuals (the information is in there)
* Go through existing examples in Teamsite
* Take some training (this should be covered in any reasonable FormsPublisher training)
* Hire someone who has experience in such matters who will do the work and provide some training (a.k.a. "knowledge transfer")

It doesn't, you need to get it from support.

For a simple case, you take a working HTML page and replace the text with a specific iwtag, something like:

{iw_value name="dcr.Root.Title"/}

That is for the old style perl based presentation templates, Interwoven does support XSLT templates which you can also learn.

If your groups uses the perl based PT, keep using them, otherwise you would be best using XSLT

This looks very much like plagiarism... If you're going to reuse my responses, please at least provide the source author credits instead of trying to pass it off as your own.

Its not plagiarism. Sometimes you will follow the ways as whom you have taken as your adviser/mentor on giving replies/solutions to the problem. One day i will lead you on solutions count(objective). If you wish here onwards i will specify the source author which i am taking from you.

Why bother sending me a private message (which I saw first and to which I already responded) if you're going to post the same text publicly. Since you did, I will provide a partial repeat of my private response:

Plagiarism: "The practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own".

When you take my response from another thread and make only a minor change to one aspect of the response but keep all the rest word-for-word the same including the formatting - that's plagiarism.

I don't care if it's mine or someone else's - if you're going to re-publicize a response like that you should indicate that you are so doing, otherwise it is (in a manner of speaking) dishonest - regardless of the intention (which, in this case, I did not think was intended)

I assume you mean "onwards" not "on wards" - the latter might make sense in an hospital ;-)
