how to get unlock permission?

hi everyone.

I want to get Just Unlock permission from other user locked.

I already changed "Unlock" combobox in "Administartion" Tab.
but i can't make it because "permission denied".

what i check combo box in Administration tab, can have unlock permission?

For unlocking a file which is locked by other user, logged user should have the administrator role for particular workarea/branch.

You can set the role as, go to that branch then click on properties link on right side now click on permissions and edit the required user's role.

Default Administrator Role has too much permission.

I don't think so that we can set permissions for an Editor role to unlock files locked by others.Only the Teamsite Master or the Administration has the right to unlock the files locked by others.

Even if you see the Permissions for an Editor role under the
ADMINISTRATION TAB->MANAGE ROLES->EDIT EDITOR ROLE,in the last you will have a topic Permissions Overrides as

 Permission Overrides  
Allow users to:  

[] Modify tasks and jobs that they do not own.

Now,if you click checkbox that menas now user can edit/modify the file that they do not own conditionally the file should not be lock.If it's lock then the owner or the administrator can only unlock this file.

So,i think you should find another way to achieve goal Editor Role+ unlock permission(other user locked) if possible .
