Getting multiple values from CGI Callout

Hi All,

I am using the example_datacapture_callout.ipl, located under IW_HOMEhttpd\iw-bin\ , to get the items in my dct template but by default the ipl returns the one value in my template's textarea field despite of that I select the multiple values in callout window. Can anybody please tell me where i need to modify the script so that i can get the mutiple values in my DCT field.

A text field only has 1 value, if you want to shoe-horn in multiple values, seperate by a comma or some other delimiter.

If you are populating a select list then the callout should return multiple option statements.

Site is Multiselect

SiteValue is hidden variable with ',' separated.

But I need to implement this in a cgi callout and not a normal multiselect.The code that you have provided works perfectly in a florm API but I need multiple return values when I select multiple options in a CGI callout. The callback function seems to return only one selected value whereas I require more than one value which should be comma separated.
Could you please provide some guidance on the same.

The methodology is similar - but in your CGI code you need to embed some javascript code that accesses the FormAPI layer of the DCT - and then with that, you can access any number of fields within the DCT to retrieve and/or set their values (and/or hide and expose them, and/or set them to be required / optional, etc.)
