onItemChange for a hidden field after a callout is popluating the field

I have a callout button which populates a hidden field. I am trying to trigger an even such as onItemChange after the hidden field is populated.

Even after i remove hidden attribute the event still doesnt trigger after the id field is populated

onItemChange Fires only when the value is modified from GUI and the Focus changes.

Not sure I understand the question. JSON is an ASCII Format, if you bother to learn it (I never did) you can use just about
any language that has String processing. That said, why reinvent the wheel? Get to jason.org and you'll find numerous
references for JSON generating/parsing Packages by language

I was probably not clear in my question. I understand JSON pretty well. Actually i used it many times in the past with Java Servlets. In perl, it is a different story. I know i Could use JSON module or JSON: Smiley Tongue

P, JSON::XS to name a few. However What i was trying is not use any of those modules because i have to install them and some of them need to be compiled which is a bit a pain to open a ticket and wait to get it installed etc..

Any way. thanks for your replies.
