is there a way to perform a get latest from the command line? A get latest CLT would solve an issue my users keep having that when they run get latest the browser times out.ThanksPete.
iwupdate -xr default/main/internet/STAGING default/main/internet/WORKAREA/foo
iwupdate -sr default/main/internet/STAGING default/main/internet/WORKAREA/foo
$ iwupdate -hUsage: iwupdate [-w|-s|-x] [-o] [-r] {src_vpath}+ dst_vpath iwupdate [-w|-s|-x] [-o] [-r] [-f vpath_file] dst_vpath where src_vpath specifies a path to a file, directory, or area and dst_vpath specifies a path to a workarea. (dst_vpath may specify a path to a file or directory in a workarea if the area-relative portions of dst_vpath and src_vpath are the same.) -w overwrite all files. Files in dst_area but not in src_area will be deleted -x overwrite conflicts -s overwrite all versioned files -r report on updated files -f read source vpaths from the file vpath_file (if vpath_file is -, stdin will be read) -o directory update conflicts return success
iwupdate -xr default/main/internet/STAGING default/main/internet/WORKAREA/foo The command above would make foo an exact copy of staging and overwrite any conflicts and reports on the updates. Except the New files in workarea.
iwupdate -sr default/main/internet/STAGING default/main/internet/WORKAREA/foo The command above would only copy all files from staging into foo but it would not delete new files that were in the foo workarea but not in staging. Is that correct?
iwupdate -s : overwrite all versioned files
