Documentum D2 basic configuration

I have deployed the D2 config, but unable to edit in D2, can anyone suggest me which basic configuration to be done in D2 config after deploying it ?

    It is not clear what you are asking, but after deploying D2 and D2-Config, the D2 Web Application does nothing.
    You have to create basic configurations, in particular define the Workspaces, to be able to login and do something in D2.
    Please refer to D2 documentation like the 'D2 Administration Guide'.

    a simple “starter” application that is named “D-Top”. try that one

    Are you trying to edit a document or the actual D2 configuration itself? If its the former, did you verify that your user has at least VERSION permissions on the document? Is the Edit action even visible? Posting screenshots would be helpful in describing your issue.
