WorkFlow Scenario if Task is Pending with Reviewer for many days

Hi All,

I wanted to know that can we achieve this scenario using WFM.

I want that if the task in WorkFlow is pending with some reviewer for many days
and till that reviewer is not performing the task workflow will not continue

So to avoid this we want that if task is pending with some reviewer for many days then Administrator or Some other person can delegate that task to some other person so that Workflow will not stuck at one place.

Please provide your thoughts that is this possible to do this in Workflows using WFM.
and how we can do that?

You need to add a timeout link to the task in question and have it point to some other task that allows the administrator (or "some other person") to do "something" to allow you to move the process forward.

A Master user - and sometimes the owner of the job itself - can force transitions of a running workflow, but IMO it is better to have a clear audit trail and the timeout is the means for that.
