Avoid to deploy directories

Does anyone know what should I do to make a deployment to deploy files removing file's source directory structure?

For example, suppose that you have the following txt files to be deployed:

\Applications\App_A\confA.xml

\Applications\App_B\confB.xml

And you need to deploy them to

\ConfigurationFiles directory, so once deployment is done and you go and see into

\ConfigurationFiles, you only see

confA.xml
confB.xml

AND NOT

\ConfigurationFiles\App_A\confA.xml

\ConfigurationFiles\App_B\confB.xml

There is no miracle setting to do that. You may for example configure single two(multi?) - leg deployment with
Source area ...App_A, App_B and Target Area Configuration or use DNR to build an interim deployment Source or
File Lists, etc
