Displaying just a label inside DCT's container

Hi,

My requirement is to display a lable inside the DCT's container. Please find the screen-shot attached for it.

We have items like text box, radio, select etc. These items come along-with label tags to display a label corresponding to them.
We also have labels for the containers, which comes like a title on the container's box.

Is there any item to display just a label inside the container?

I had tried it this way:

This is just a label

and it shows a label and a disabled textarea next to it. Please find the screen-shot attached for it.

Please reply ASAP.

Your thread is wired. While posting the code follow these vCode rules.

As per your query, You want an item which has only a label for showing. Right, but why you want to use an item without any caption. For label only you can utilize container label.
The texarea comes with your code. This might be default nature of DCT.
If you have certain specific requirement then you can try dialog tag.

There is no label item - which is what you are looking for - instead you can use one of the other item elements with a label and make the item readonly - it's not perfect, but it works - alternatively you could use a text field with a default value (which can be HTML-enriched) and make it read-only; again, not perfect, but potentially reasonable.

It is not working. You can check. Because using hidden it will hide complete item.

dialog tag isn't helping either.

Those workarounds will not be acceptable to client, as we have a client requirement which requires a label in one of the containers in DCT to be displayed exactly in that manner.

If there is any other way, please suggest.

Those workarounds will not be acceptable to client...

You can try to set a dedicated "Label" Container just above your "real" Container, see sample below. To make it look
better you may want to "Collapse" Label Container on Init, etc (Container Label still shows on the Collapsed one).

That said, if you are using certain Product like TS you and your Clients have to adhere to some Product limitations.
