containers collapsed when opening form

its been a bit since Ive worked on templates, so i think I'm just being thick.

I have created a DCT with a container allowing between 1-25 replicants. when i create a new form they are all collapsed. so i add 12 items. then i save. and when i re-open they are all collapsed. so i need to click the collapse link, then the expand link at the top.

I have another form in the same branch which opens with everything expanded by default. I can't see that Ive done anything different. Anyone have any thoughts about this behaviour?

Another approach you can try is setting an option in your templating.cfg file. in the viewoptions tag you can try adding 'replicant-render="normal"' as an attribute. The default behavior of templates is to collapse replicants if it contains 3 or more instances. By setting the replicant-render to normal for a given template, that template will no longer collapse replicants. However, you should do performance testing with this for any given template you an to set this for because you might experience slow performance depending on how many replicants a given template can have. You can also play with the number of instances a replicant can have before teamsite will open a file with replicants collapsed. The default value is 3 so you have a little room to increase that number. check manuals on the proper way to set that number.

Chances are, these two Types are configured differently in the templating.cfg. Take a look [post=143344]here[/post], check viewoptions/replicant-render usage
