How to format Instantiation form in WFM

Hi Folks,

I am just getting into the Workflow Modeller and I have a question about how I can change the formatting for the instantiation form. I have begun with a very simple model which essentially contains nothing but a "submit task". The SubmitComment and SubmitInfo properties are set to configurable, and I end up with a instantiation form that essentially contains the following components:

• A 1-line header with the name of the workflow and a preview link
  
• Comment textbox
  
• Info Text box
  
• A comment text box for each submitted file (as replicants)
  

Whilst remaining within the Workflow Modeller framework, does anyone know how I might modify the look and feel of these components? For example, adding some descriptive text or forcing the replicant textboxes to default in a collapsed state??

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
You can create your own workflow instantiation screen according to your requirement. You have to follow these steps:

• Run iwmodeldct command from \\iw-home\bin directory (eg: iwmodeldct \\iwadmin\main\workflowmodels\workarea\iw-wa\config\workflow_name\default_config.xml temp_location\custom_instantiation.cfg)
  
• Now copy this custion_instantiation.cfg file in \\iwadmin\main\workflowmodels\workarea\iw-wa\config\workflow_name folder.
  
• There are JaveScript codes generated in custom_instantion.cfg file, you can remove all the codes and add as per your requirement, for reference you can go through FormAPI. You can also add different field/element as textbox, radio button, drop down etc.
  
• Now Submit this file using submit workflow or clt.
  
• Now run the workflow and look the instantion screen.
