iwStore question?

I have a question regarding DCR deployment. When I deploy using the fileSystem, I am missing extra ea's values. So I tried iwStore instead and now I don't know how to change the syntax inside the tag iwStore. Here is my fileSystem deployment:

How do I use filePath="$LOCAL_HOST_FILELIST^" in iwStore?This is what I have now and it's deploying correctly except that ea's are not set.

Check "Deploying TeamSite Extended Attributes with TeamSite Files" Paragraph in your OD Manual.

Basically, you should use applyExtAttrs="yes" Attribute of the <targetTeamsite> Tag - providing you use OD
Version that supports this feature

If I change tag value applyExtAttrs="no", it's deploying correctly except that ea's are not set.

Check OD Base and OD Receiver Logs to see what the problem really is. One (and possibly both) of these services logged
Error messages explaining what happened. In addition you may want to log out STDERR as well as STDOUT to see error
messages in addition to "Status: Failed"

OpenDeploy from TS to TS is not working:
It is deploying correctly without setting the file ea attributes.
When I set the value for applyExtAttrs to 'yes', I got the "Failure" error message. I followed the OpenDeploy doc and the steps I did is as follows:
1. Used [highlight] <iwStore>[/highlight] tag for my source directory
2. Added this tag to my target
[highlight] <targetTeamsite area="X:\default\main\CPO\WORKAREA\production\templatedata" applyExtAttrs="yes" />[/highlight]
3. Added this line in deploy.cfg
[highlight]teamsite.version: 6.7.1[/highlight]
Pretty much this is what I followed to work this out. I don't know why I am still getting this error. My question is how is this working fine without setting ea's when I set applyExtAttrs="no".

Error message:

Check "ODHOME/etc/deploy.cfg" for both Base and Receiver. In there, do you have commented out line similar to
teamsite.version: 6.7.1? If you do, un-comment it. If you do not, create one. Restart OD Service(s) and try again.

If I were you I would also try to eliminate "X:" in the targetTeamsite area. Use vpath: area="/default/main... etc"

Wait a moment... Is there a running TeamSite Instance behind your Target X: Drive?
In other words, is it really some Target TS Content Store with the Target iwserver exposing
Virtual File System?

If not - Windows File System does not implement "Extended Attributes" Concept and you can not simply "deploy" EA's.

I've compared your configuration to some of mine where I knew for sure that EAs are Deployed.

The only serious difference I've found was in the "area" attribute format. I always code it as TS Area, not some directory.
In your case that translates to something like the following:

"X:/...BMW/WORKAREA/production" - that's Workarea - instead of
"X:/...BMW/WORKAREA/production/templatedata" - that's the Path, not an Area
Note that File List Entries would have to be modified (Path fragment attached) accordingly.

I do not know if that's critical. Try it, can not hurt. If it does not help, contact Support.
