Generate HTML functionality in Sitepublisher

Hi,

We are using "Generate HTML" to generate .html files from .pages. html files are generated in a folder named "html" inside the workarea. I wanted to change the name of the default folder i.e from "html" to "generated". How do i acheive this?

Please provide some pointers on any manuals or config files i need to refer.

You can just change the value of task variable in "Generate HTML" task. There is a task variable "DestinationDirectory" it's value is "html/${siteName}".

You can change its value as per your requirement. That should be exist in the corresponding workarea.

I'm assuming you are referring to a change within workflow modeler for a specific workflow. But how do I change the destination directory when someone manually generates html within Sitepublisher tab in 6.72?

Yes, you are correct.

To change the destination directory for html generation through drop-down menu link, you have to go through the customization process.

So before doing so you should first try to understand the teamsite customization and go through the TS_Customiztion_Guide.
